As the Colts head into San Diego to take on the Chargers they must be collective, over confidence in a game like this could really hurt them as they had a great start to their season. The Chargers suffered a big setback last week as they were beating the Raiders when all of a sudden their defense disappeared and allowed Oakland to come back from 20 points down to win the game. The Chargers need to get back on track in this game by controlling the clock and holding the run play, tow things that the Colts have done well.
Indianapolis Colts vs. San Diego Chargers

The Colts have really looked good this season in both their running game as well as the composure that QB Andrew Luck has shown in the pocket. This game will allow them to explore different run attacks as the Chargers have exposed themselves all season long against the run. I expect Reggie Wayne to continue his great season and add to his already 28 receptions for 365 yards and 2 touchdowns while Richardson will get a much bigger work load in this outing.
The Chargers know they have to make things right in this game, what happened last week was not only embarrassing but a real wake up call to the franchise that they need to get after the defensive line. QB Phillip Rivers has completed 140 of his 190 passes for 1610 yards and 13 touchdowns as tight end Antonio Gates has resurrected his career with some great route running. Gates has caught 32 passes for 438 yards and 2 trips to the end zone.
What to Expect:
This game is so close the line makers opened it at a pick with the juice reaching -125 on the Colts, as good as I think Indy is, I have seen many plays workout from luck and the Chargers have the ability to get to Luck which will make things harder for Luck given his lack of running ability. I see the Chargers bouncing back from a bad loss last week to take this game on Monday night.
