My Winning NFL Week 12 Free Picks

The epic carnage from last week’s NFL action leaves us with never before seen parity in both the divisional and wild card races. Entering Week 12, four of the eight divisions have two teams tied at the top of the standings. Look at the chaotic AFC North where the first-place Pittsburgh Steelers who are a mere 1/2 game above the last-place Browns and it gets even crazier because Cleveland was in first place last week.

The surprising results from this past Sunday have lead to a redonkulous 21 of the 32 NFL teams are either in or within one game of a postseason spot entering Week 12. Only one team, the winless Oakland Raiders, has been officially eliminated from the playoffs, so this will make the final six weeks of the 2014 season even more competitive. Analyzing My NFL Week 12 Expert Free Picks

Speaking of the winless Raiders, can they avoid becoming just the second team in NFL history to finish a season without a win? Their last victory came on Nov 17th of 2013 and their 16-game losing streak is now the fourth-longest in NFL history.

Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders
Date: Thursday, Nov. 20
Start Time: 8:25 p.m. ET
Location: Oakland, CA
Stadium: O.co Coliseum
TV Info: NFL Network
Live Stream: NFL.com
Radio: Chiefs Vs Raiders
Point Spread: Chiefs -7
Game Total: 43

The Kansas City Chiefs have won five straight and and are back on my NFL betting tips sheet as a must bet on team. Their victories have come against strong teams including the San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks. Andy Reid’s team covered the spread in all of those five wins.

What makes the Chiefs streak so amazing is that their offensive output has come from everyone except for their wide receivers. Jamaal Charles leads the way with 692 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, while Knile Davis has 421 yards and five touchdowns. Alex Smith is completing 66.3 percent of his passes for 11 touchdowns and four interceptions.

The only thing you will have to decide when betting on this game is by how much the Oakland Raiders will lose by.

Oakland is 2-9 ATS in its last 11 games when playing at home against Kansas City. The Chiefs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Raiders are 27-55-1 ATS in their last 83 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in November. The Chiefs are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Oakland, while the road team is 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 meetings.

NFL Week 12 Expert Pick: Chiefs -7.

Matchup: Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings
Date: Sunday, Nov. 23
Start Time: 1:00 p.m. ET
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Stadium: TCF Bank Stadium
TV Info: FOX
Live Stream: NFL.com
Radio: Packers Vs Vikings
Point Spread: Packers -9.5
Game Total: 48.5

I would have to be insane to bet against the Green Bay Packers at this point in the season. QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown 28 TDs this season and 3 INTs in 2014, including nine TDs in the last two weeks, and his career record says 9-4 against the Vikings with 29 TDs & 4 INTs.

The Packers are averaging 54 points in the last two games and have won six of the seven games.

Minnesota is 1-8-1 SU in its last ten games and 2-5 ATS in its last seven games when playing Green Bay.

NFL Week 12 Expert Pick: Packers -9.5.

Matchup: Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks
Date: Sunday, Nov. 23
Start Time: 4:05 p.m. ET
Location: Seattle, WA
Stadium: CenturyLink Field
TV Info: FOX
Live Stream: NFL.com
Radio: Cardinals Vs Seahawks
Point Spread: Seahawks -6.5
Game Total: 42

The Arizona Cardinals quietly have the best record in the NFL and the sit at 9-1, even without the services of QB Carson Palmer for most of the season. Last Sunday they not only beat the number one defense in the league they held QB Matthew Stafford to 183 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT, and WR Calvin Johnson only caught five balls for 59 yards.

The Cardinals are 9-1 this season and still fall behind the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl conversation.

Visiting Seattle was intimidating last season. The 12th man alone gave the Seahawks an unprecedented edge. This year every advantage, bounce, break that vaulted Seattle to the Super Bowl last year has vanished. The Seattle Seahawks have already lost at home to the Dallas Cowboys and had problems beating the Oakland Raiders and the NY Giants.

Last year Arizona beat the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field giving QB Russell Wilson his first career home loss. The Cardinals have covered the spread in three of the last five games in the series against the Seahawks.

Seattle is 15-6 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 19-8 against the spread against the NFC, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six games. Arizona is 7-1 against the spread in their last eight road games, 4-1 against the spread against the NFC West, and 6-2 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The home team has covered the spread in 11 of the last 16 meetings of these two.

NFL Week 12 Expert Pick: Cardinals +6.5.
