This is a best of five with the Blues up two games to none. This season Saint Louis has really come alive on both sides of the ice as they even went as far as too make a mid season trade that would allow them to get one of the best goalies in the League this year in exchange for a few bench wingman and a draft pick. The Stars have really never been known as a big market team, they have not found very much success in recent seasons because of their lack of fund input to the team.
Dallas Stars vs. Saint Louis Blues

Scottrade Center, Saint Louis, Missouri
Dallas knows that it could be better but they just have not decided to invest in the big name players that are going to come out and really push this team. Their roster has some good players on it like Seguin who leads the team in points, goals and assists. They need to get someone to help him as well as invest on the defensive side, they allow on average 2.7 goals a game and most of them are coming on non-power play situations.
The Blues are having the season of a lifetime this year, they are pushing the puck up and down the ice as they please and really making other teams defend the rebound more than the initial shot. This team is at 42 wins already and know that as long as they play hard they have earned a playoff spot come the end of the regular season. I expect guys like Steen and Pietrangelo to really step up their game even with some unexpected rest over what’s left in the season, especially in games like this. I like the Blues -210 in this one as well as the over 4 goals -135.
