NHL Expert Picks Nov 27 – Dec 3Noah Williams
You will have to wait until the weekend for this week’s best NHL bets. My trio of expert NFL betting picks are not only must bet, but a must watch.
NHL Expert Picks Nov 27 – Dec 3
Who takes it when Pittsburgh travels to Buffalo to battle the Sabres? I like a team in the game between Boston and Philadelphia on Saturday. Will the Flyers hold serve on their own ice versus Boston? The final game that makes my list is Ottawa at Winnipeg. Who wins when the Jets host the Senators?
Pittsburgh at Buffalo
When: Friday, Dec. 1 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Key Bank Center, Buffalo, NY
The Pens are a terrific 7-2-1-0 at home. They’re only 5-8-1-1 on the road as of Nov. 26. The Pens last battled Buffalo on Nov. 14. Pittsburgh took home the “W” beating the Sabres 5 to 4 in overtime.
Buffalo is 3-7-0-1 at home as of Nov. 26. That tells me that the Pens should slide onto the ice the heavy favorite in this matchup. Pitt should be over bet. That’s good news to me because I think the Sabres pull off the upset.
Boston at Philadelphia
When: Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA
Before battling the Philadelphia Flyers this Saturday, Boston must take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Nov. 29. Three days of rest should be plenty for Boston to show up and be competitive on Dec. 2.
Then again, Tampa Bay is the best team in NHL. Plus, Boston is 4-4-1-1 on the road. The Bruins beat the Flyers 2 to 1 the last time these two played against each other. That was way back in March.
Depending on what happens to Boston versus Tampa, I might be inclined to back Philly on the puck line. No matter what, I like Philly to beat Boston on Saturday.
Ottawa at Winnipeg
When: Sunday, Dec. 3 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Bell MTS Place, Winnipeg, MB, CA
As of Nov. 24, the Ottawa Senators are 8-8-2-4. The Senators have enough time to become a force in the Atlantic Division. To do that, Ottawa must occasionally surprise favored teams.
One of those favored teams are the Winnipeg Jets. With a 14-6-3 record, the Jets are in second-place in the ridiculous Central Division. Winnipeg is at the top of the division with the St. Louis Blues and the Nashville Predators.
Ottawa should have no shot. But, here’s the thing: Winnipeg faces Minnesota, Colorado, and Vegas before tackling Ottawa on Sunday. The difficult schedule this week gives me hope that the Senators can pull off the money line upset. Plus, Ottawa’s odds in this match should be too hard to ignore.
