NHL Game 7 Betting Tips – Tempting Underdogs All Over The Place

Game 7 Betting Tips – Tempting Underdogs All Over The Place

Three series remain in play in the first round of the 2014 NHL Stanely Cup Playoffs, and thus we have three separate NHL playoff game 7 betting tips to hand out tonight. Can the Flyers, Wild and Kings complete their comebacks? It’s hard to bet against the underdogs, who seem to have all the momentum.

NHL Game 7 Betting Tips

Bet the Philadelphia Flyers +135 over the NEW YORK RANGERS -155 (7pm EST)

The strong majority of gamblers, handicappers and experts are taking the Rangers to win this game largely because they’re at home and also because they’re a more stable asset. However, I’m throwing all logic out the proverbial window when I lay down these NHL Game 7 betting tips because playoff hockey – for me – is more about toughness and producing in the moment.

Philadelphia staved off elimination with a dominant 5-2 win in Game 6 in front of their home crowd. With a touch of momentum, some confidence and a commitment to playing the physical brand of Flyers hockey we all know and hate, they’ll roll the Rangers right in to golf season.

Bet the COLORADO AVALANCHE -140 over the Minnesota Wild +120 (9:30pm EST)

Raise your hand if you saw this Game 7 coming? “Oh oh! Pick me! I did!” Like everyone involved I think Colorado is an actual Stanley Cup contender, but Minnesota has a ton of qualities that could allow them to go on an unexpected playoff run. Most importantly, they have that unknown goalie in Darcy Kuemper who has staged a ridiculous 1.54 GAA in 5 games so far this season.

Kuemper’s insertion has made this a literal back-and-forth series. In the beginning, Colorado was rampaging the net. In the end, it’s been Minnesota rallying to win. And in reality this is really just a one of those series where the win goes to which ever team has home ice. It’s not one of the sturdiest NHL Game 7 betting tips out there, but with the Avalanche returning to the comfort of the mountains tonight they have the distinct advantage.

I would not count out Minnesota, but that’s where the trends are leading most of us and there is a serious belief hanging out there that Kuemper’s bow is about to break.

Bet the Los Angeles Kings +120 over the SAN JOSE SHARKS -140 (10:30pm EST)

Bothe teams are worthy plays here, but there is no way in blue hell that I’m trusting Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks in a make or break matchup. The Sharks have never had the stones to survive these pressure cookers, while Quick and the Kings appear galvanized by those very flames. Follow my final NHL Game 7 betting tip of the night and take the underdog Kings over the overrated Sharks.
