NHL Picks Dec 3-9

NHL Picks Dec 3-9

Happy holidays hockey fans! I have a trio of NFL betting picks for the week of December 3rd to the 9th that you can cash in for Christmas!

NHL Picks Dec 3-9

Chicago Blackhawks at Anaheim Ducks
When: Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 10:30 pm ET
Where: Honda Center, Anaheim, CA
TV: NBCSN

Analysis: Chicago faces Anaheim on Wednesday looking to get back on the right track. The Blackhawks have been horrendous in their last 10. Before their game versus Calgary on Dec. 2, Chicago had gone 3-7. They had gone 0-3 before taking on the Flames.

Anaheim has played much better. The Ducks ride a 4-game win streak into this Wednesday matchup: 3-1 over Tampa, 3-2 over Florida, 2-1 over Carolina, and the best win during the streak, a 4-0 victory over the Washington Capitals in D.C. It’s rare to see a team go 4-0 on a 4-game road trip.

Anaheim is 7-3-3 at home. They’ll manage a big win over Chicago. Consider laying the 1 ½ pucks because the Ducks can dominate on Wednesday.

Pick: Anaheim Ducks

St. Louis Blues at Winnipeg Jets
When: Friday, Dec. 7 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Bell MTS Place, Winnipeg, MB, CA
TV: NHL

Analysis: Two NHL Preseason contenders in the Western Conference hit the ice on Friday when the St. Louis Blues visit the Winnipeg Jets. So far, the Blues’ season has been a disappointment. St. Louis is 9-13-3 after their 1-6 loss to Arizona on Dec. 1.

Winnipeg went 3-1 before their Dec. 2 match with the New York Rangers. The Jets are around 3 games behind Central division-leading Nashville.

In the last between these two, Winnipeg dominated St. Louis 8-4. The Blues shouldn’t give up 8 goals, but they’ll definitely lose by 2.

Pick: Winnipeg Jets

Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins
When: Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: TD Garden, Boston, MA
TV: NHL

Analysis: Saturday’s featured matchup has the Boston Bruins hosting one of the best in NHL. Toronto has a 19-8 record as of Dec. 1. The Tampa Bay Lightning have a 19-7-1 record.

The Maple Leafs are on a roll. They’ve won 4 straight before their Dec. 4 battle against Buffalo. One of the victories was a 4-2 win over Boston on Nov. 26. It’s hard to see the Leafs not putting up a fight.

Toronto’s the pick as a slight dog.

Pick: Toronto Maple Leafs
