Nashville Vs Pittsburgh Stanley Cup Finals Odds & Pick

NHL Best Bets Feb 20th – 26th

The NHL provides its usual slate this week of terrific matchups on the ice! Does Arizona have any shot versus tough Chicago in a game this Thursday, Feb. 23? How is Philadelphia going to play against Pittsburgh outdoors at Heinz-Field in NBC’s prime time game on Saturday, Feb. 25? Then, on Sunday, Feb. 26, Chicago hosts St. Louis. Who takes it in that matchup between two tough Western Conference squads?

NHL Best Bets Feb 20th – 26th

Arizona at Chicago
When:  Thursday, Feb. 23 at 8:30 pm ET
Where: United Center, Chicago, IL

Analysis: Arizona is 20-30-6-1 to start the week. Teams ahead of the Coyotes in the Pacific Division are: Vancouver, Los Angeles, Calgary, Anaheim, Edmonton, and Pacific leading San Jose. That’s right. Arizona is in last place in the Pacific. Does Arizona have any shot against one of the Stanley Cup favorites, the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 23?

Probably not. Chicago is in second place, only 5 games behind Minnesota in the Central Division. The Blackhawks could easily catch the Wild to win the division. The last time that the Blackhawks faced the Coyotes, on Feb. 2 this year, they beat them 4 to 3.

Chicago should beat Arizona by at least 2 goals. Consider betting on the puck line in this Thursday match up.

Pick: Chicago

Philadelphia at Pittsburgh
When:  Saturday, Feb. 25 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Heinz-Field Pittsburgh, PA

Analysis: Saturday’s match up is one to watch. To start the week, the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins are in second place in the Metropolitan Division. Pitt has a 36-13-6-2 record. Metropolitan leading Washington has a 39-12-2-5 record.

But, the last time that Pittsburgh beat Philadelphia, the Pens had to score 5 goals. Philly lost 4 to 5. The Flyers go into this week cold. They went 1 and 5 straight up in their last 6. Philly is too tough to have another awful week.

I think the Flyers bounce back with a nice week that includes a decent game against Pittsburgh. Will it be enough to win? I’m not so sure. But, since Pitt figures to be at least a -200 favorite in this match up, I’m taking a shot with a few bucks on Philly.

Pick: Philadelphia

St. Louis at Chicago
When:  Sunday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: United Center, Chicago, IL

Analysis: In three games this season, St. Louis has outplayed Chicago. In the first battle between these two Central Division heavyweights, St. Louis dominated Chicago 5 to 2.

That game was on Oct. 12, 2016. Then, on Nov. 9, Chicago beat St. Louis 2 o 1. The Blackhawks needed overtime to beat the Blues in that match up. On Jan. 2, St. Louis went back to their dominating ways. They pummeled the Blackhawks 4 to 1.

St. Louis appears to match up well with Chicago. Since the Blackhawks should be favored in this game, my money is going to be on the underdog Blues to make it 4 and 1 straight up against the rival Blackhawks this season.

Pick: St. Louis
