Sharks Looking To Sweep In Columbus

This should be a great game to watch with some friends as both of these franchises are battling to pull off a ballot to the post season. This is their last game against one another this season and San Jose got the best of Columbus in game one just a few weeks ago. The Blue Jackets will have a little business to fix in this game to at least try and even things out overall.

San Jose Sharks vs. Columbus Blue Jackets
The San Jose Sharks and the Columbus Blue Jackets face-off on Thursday Night in the NHL.
Starts: 03/13/2014 7:00PM
Nationwide Arena, 200 West Nationwide Boulevard
Columbus, Ohio

The Sharks are a fast skating team, they move well without the puck and demonstrate patience around the net. They are calm on defense and do not like to set up much, they have a tendency of trapping the puck and forcing it back to center ice. One thing they must work on is their faceoff battles, they only win 43% of the time, that has to change if they want to make any dent in the playoffs. Power play scoring is a must but they have to stick to their defensive ways too because they have been scored on first in all 8 of their last games.

Columbus is as physical as they get, they lead all NHL teams in the League in penalty minutes because of their willingness to do anything to win. They have an ability to get under stars skin and taking them out of the game, allowing them to counter attack very well and score. They need to work on refining their line changes, something that might give them a little more speed I with their second unite.

The Blue Jackets are -140 in this one and from what I can see it´s a great pick, they will out hustle the Sharks and want to avenge their loss to San Jose earlier.
