Must Bet NHL Games Super Bowl Week

While everyone is looking forward to the Super Bowl, don’t miss out on a trio of bankroll busting NHL games to cash in on this week.

Must Bet NHL Games Super Bowl Week

Columbus Blue Jackets at Winnipeg Jets
When: Thursday, Jan. 31 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: Bell MTS Place, Winnipeg, MB, CA
TV: ESPN+

Analysis: Top Central Division team Winnipeg went 4-1 straight up in their last 5 before the NHL All-Star Break. The Jets are an excellent 18-6-1-1 at home this season. They’ve dominated opponents in most home games.

Columbus went 4-2 SU in their last 6 before the all-star break. The Blue Jackets are 28-17-2-1 and only a couple of games behind the New York Islanders in the Metropolitan Division. Columbus beat Winnipeg 2-1 in overtime in the last match.

The Jets should turn the tables on Thursday, though. Winnipeg should be ready to make a statement this week. They’ll beat the Blue Jackets.

Pick: Winnipeg Jets

Calgary Flames at Washington Capitals
When: Friday, Feb. 1 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C.
TV: ESPN+
Stream: Watch ESPN

Analysis: Washington over Calgary on Friday isn’t the lock that many NHL handicappers might believe it is. The Capitals struggled towards the end of the first half of the season. They entered the all-star break on a 7 game losing streak.

Calgary has gone 8-2 straight up in their last 10 games heading into this week. The Flames are ready to roll after separating some from San Jose and Vegas in the Pacific Division. Still, nobody’s taking Calgary as a serious contender for the Western Conference.

A victory over the Capitals in D.C. could change some minds.

Pick: Calgary Flames

Pittsburgh Penguins at Toronto Maple Leafs
When: Saturday, Feb. 2 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON, CA
TV: ESPN+

Analysis: Pittsburgh heads to Toronto on Saturday hoping they can pull off the huge upset. The Penguins will be major dogs in this because the Maple Leafs beat them 5-0 the last time the Pens battled them.

Toronto is a legitimate contender to win the Stanley Cup this season. The Maple Leafs ended the first half of the season going 2-4 straight up. But, they should get back on track facing a team they dominated.

Toronto could win by 2 goals. So, consider a puck line play.

Pick: Toronto Maple Leafs
