A Closer Look At The Best NHL Bets for Nov 2nd – 8th
Boston at Washington
When: Thursday, Nov. 5
Boston is 1-3-1 in their away games to start the week. Even though that doesn’t signal a victory, in fact, it signals the opposite, the Bruins appear to have turned some things around. Boston has won 6 out of their last 7 games to start the week.
They have beaten every one of their 6 opponents by at least 2 goals. Washington has been on a roll itself having gone 8 and 2 in its last 10 games to start the week. The Capitals figure to be a big favorite in this one. Take a shot on Boston. Why not? Hockey handicappers could be in line for a nice moneyline payday.
St. Louis at Nashville
When: Saturday, Nov. 7
The Blues play L.A., Chicago and Nashville in a row this week. St. Louis has shown a tendency to fall flat after winning streaks. For example, after winning four games in a row they lost 2 straight to Montreal and the Islanders.
They take on L.A. after having won 3 straight. Will Nashville be on the losing or winning end of a St. Louis streak? Nashville, once again, has been brilliant at home. Expect the Blues to be too tired after battling L.A. and Chicago this week to handle the tough Predators. Nashville should have no trouble winning this one especially after L.A. and Chicago plays St. Louis tough.
Dallas at Detroit
When: Sunday, Nov. 8
Dallas is another hot team to start the week. The Stars are 8 and 2 in their last 10 games. They have been dominant, like when they took down Pittsburgh 4 to 1 on Oct. 22, and they have been so-so, like when it took over time to beat Vancouver 4 to 3 on Oct. 29.
In one of their losses, Dallas looked terrible. The Stars gave up 6 goals to Florida in a 2 to 6 loss as a -174 favorite. But, Detroit has been on the skids for a while. The Red Wings are 2 and 6 in their last 8 games to start the week. It doesn’t appear that Detroit is going to turn things around by the time they take on Dallas this Sunday. Expect the Stars to win it.
