Odds & Picks To Win The RBC Heritage

Odds & Picks To Win The RBC Heritage

After a Masters to remember, and that is saying something, we head into the RBC Heritage tournament this week. And just because Tiger isn’t playing, it doesn’t mean you can’t cash in on your golf bets this week. Click here for live PGA golf odds.

Odds & Picks To Win The RBC Heritage

RBC Heritage Betting Favorite: Dustin Johnson +700

Dustin Johnson is the betting favorite to win the RBC Heritage after coming in second at the Masters this last week. He started Sunday at Augusta five shots off the lead and tied for seventh. Johnson made three straight birdies on holes 15, 16 and 17 to finish 12-under.

RBC Heritage Smart Picks: Francesco Molinari +1400

Francesco Molinari is the second favorite at a distant +1400. Molinari was the odds on favorite to win the Masters heading into the back 9 on Sunday before cracking under the pressure of playing with Tiger. Woods won’t be at Hilton Head to psych out Molinari making him the smart play.

RBC Heritage Longshots: Jordan Spieth +2200

Jordan Spieth finished the Masters with a solid one-under 71 on Sunday after Thursday’s 75 left him in a hole too deep to escape. If he can carry his Sunday game into the RBC Heritage, he could end up atop the leaderboard on Sunday.

MLB Betting Analysis April 15-21

MLB Betting Analysis April 15-21

While the focus is on the basketball and hockey playoffs, you can make a quick buck by betting on three MLB games this week. Let’s take a closer look.

MLB Betting Analysis April 15-21

Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees
When: Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 pm ET
Where: Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY
TV: ESPN

Analysis: The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees continue the greatest rivalry in sports when they throw down at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Wednesday night, April 17. Boston sends starter Nathan Eovaldi to the mound while J.A. Happ is listed as the Yankees’ starter.

In 3 starts this season, Happ’s had nothing but trouble. He hasn’t lasted more than 4.1 innings in any start while posting an 0-2 record, an 8.76 ERA, and a 1.95 WHIP. Happ allows the Red Sox to only hit .212 against him, though.

Unfortunately for the Yankees, although Nathan Eovaldi hasn’t thrown particularly well this season in 3 starts, just like Happ, the Red Sox have won all 3 games where Eovaldi’s started. His 8.40 ERA and 1.87 WHIP are terrible. It doesn’t matter because Boston beat Seattle 7-6, Oakland 6-3, and Toronto 7-6.

The Yankees only bat .230 against Eovaldi. The Yankees figure to go off the favorites in this matchup, making the Red Sox a nice play at, hopefully, above even money.

Pick: Boston Red Sox

San Francisco Giants at Pittsburgh Pirates
When: Saturday, April 20 at 4:05 pm ET
Where: PNC Park, Pittsburgh, PA
TV: FS1

Analysis: Giants’ listed pitcher Derek Holland has gotten better with each start. Holland gave up 3 earned runs off 4 hits in 4 innings in a 1-4 loss to San Diego on March 29. On April 3, he gave up 2 earned runs off 3 hits in 5 innings of a 3-5 SF loss to the rival L.A. Dodgers. Then in his last start, Holland pitched 7 innings and gave up only 1 earned run in a 7-2 Giants’ victory over the Padres.

Pittsburgh hopes to cool off the suddenly high-scoring Giants with former Tampa Bay pitcher Chris Archer. Archer’s thrown really well in his 3 starts in a Bucks’ uniform. His ERA is a fantastic 2.00 while he’s struck out 24 batters in 18 innings pitched and has a 1.00 WHIP.

Although Archer should dominate, he’ll eventually have to take a seat. At that point, the San Francisco Giants should take the lead. The Giants are also worth backing because Archer and the Pirates figure to be overplayed.

Pick: San Francisco Giants

Atlanta Braves at Cleveland Indians
When: Sunday, April 21 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Progressive Field, Cleveland, OH
TV: ESPN

Analysis: Atlanta takes on Cleveland on Sunday in what should be a terrific battle. Since becoming a starter, Atlanta pitcher Max Fried has been sensational. He threw 6 innings versus both the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies and yielded only a single earned run off 6 total hits.

Cleveland counters Fried with Shane Bieber. Bieber’s been just as good as Fried. That gives Bieber and the Tribe a real shot. However, Fried has been in such amazing control, and no doubt the Braves go off the underdogs, Atlanta’s an attractive play.

Pick: Atlanta Braves
