Can Holly Holm Beat Ronda Rousey at UFC 193?
Holm needs to use her powerful boxing skills, great athleticism and strength.
As crazy as it sounds, Holly Holm can actually beat Ronda Rousey if remembers that she’s afraid of Rousey. Dana White, UFC’s President, stated that Holly Holm is a “world-class boxer” sometime in August when he decided to make Holm the fighter in place of Miesha Tate, whom Rousey has already beaten twice. It was a great move by White.

Rousey has destroyed all of her recent MMA opponents. Battling a pure boxer could actually make Rousey look human. The reason for this is because boxers are always taught to be defensive first. Holm has stated that she’s not going to “fight inside” on Rousey because Rousey has “judo skills”.
For Holm to have any shot at beating Rousey, she’s going to have to be fearful of the best MMA fighter in the world. Being fearful means keeping her distance and using her 1” height advantage. If Holm turns the fight into a distance striking match, where Rousey can’t get her to the ground, she might have a shot at upsetting Rousey.
Can Ronda Rousey Beat Holly Holm at UFC 193?
Rousey needs to take the fight to the ground and quick.
All Ronda Rousey needs to do in order to beat Holly Holm is to close the distance on the expert boxer. Holm has terrific boxing skills. In order for her to beat Rousey, Holm is going to have to use her defensive boxing skills.
For Rousey to beat Holm, she’ll need to force Holm into a close quarter’s battle. Holm doesn’t really have the striking ability that Rousey has. Rousey might be able to knockout holms if she can get off a good inside shot. If Rousey doesn’t want to fight Holms inside and instead take the fight the ground, she’ll be able to do it if she closes the distance between the two.
As crazy as it sounds, this could be Ronda Rousey’s toughest fight to do. The reason being is that Holly Holm presents boxing skills that none of Ronda’s other fighters have ever presented. By being able to fight Ronda with a defensive boxing style, Holm will put herself into a position to last longer than many of Ronda’s other opponents.

But, she won’t beat Ronda. Ronda Rousey is the best MMA fighter on the planet. She’ll break down Holm at the end. My final fight prediction is Ronda Rousey by 3 Round Submission.
